What is it and where did it come from?
To be honest, it’s still a developing process. The name came as a perfect partner to Outwest Clothing. But what exactly is Outwest Living? Our goal with Outwest Living is to provide visitors a chance to immerse themselves sustainably in nature, the outdoors & the local community.
Starting with our E-bike & normal bike service – this is something that was always going to be part of the Outwest model, however, it has come sooner than initially planned! But there’s never a perfect time for these things & to be honest we’re very excited! We can now offer bike rental, hire & sales on the Dingle Peninsula! Our new fleet of bikes are hand made in Italy and are excellent quality, we have a mix of cruiser bikes & some electric mountain bikes too!
You can book your bike via our bike booking page on this website, then you are free to head off on your outwest adventure! Getting a tour in a car or a bus is cool, but trust me, getting out in the fresh Atlantic air is a far more exciting experience!
The next wing of Outwest Living is what you might initially expect from the name – our own accommodation offering.
To be perfectly honest, this has been in the pipeline for a while now.
As we started to think a little bit more about the Outwest brand, what it is, what we want it to look like and where we see it going in the future – we knew we wanted our own “base” to bring people to. A place where people can base themselves for their outwest adventures, a place where people could join us for our scheduled wellness or hiking weekends or a place where people can relax, slow down and immerse themselves in the “west of Ireland” life.
The Dingle Peninsula is a place full of inspiration, great people and inspiring places. We want people to experience the same.
All we can say for now is that we are in the planning stages with this part of Outwest Living. It’s all very exciting & we can’t wait to share the whole journey with you.
